Khing is a fourth-year Physics Ph.D. candidate at Brown University originally from Thailand. She works with Prof. Gregory Tucker on the EXCITE (Exoplanet Climate Infrared Telescope) mission, a balloon-borne telescope designed to perform phase-resolved spectroscopy of hot Jupiters in the 0.8–3.5 µm range, enabling detailed studies of their atmospheric composition, thermal structure, and brightness variations. In addition to her research, she serves as a leader of the Women in Physics (WiP) organization at Brown, advocating for community building and fostering an inclusive environment within the department.
