Justine M. Singleton

Justine M. Singleton is a post-baccalaureate research assistant at George Mason University, having graduated in 2024 from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in astronomy.

Singleton won the APS Forum of the History and Philosophy of Physics’ 2024 essay contest; this article is adapted from her winning entry.
