Joanna Wuko

I am a fourth-year graduate student at UMass Amherst. I am originally from the greater Philadelphia area. My graduate research is focused on the development of detectors to search for low-mass dark matter. I am involved in the Women+ in Physics Group and the Physics Community Organization at UMass, where I help to plan community-building events for the members of the physics department.
