This coffee hour will be led by Dr. Stéphane Kenmoe– scientist at University of Duisburg-Essen, editor of APS African Physics Newsletter, and experienced science communicator through tv, film, social media, and more. Dr. Kenmoe will discuss how diversity in science communication is capital for science-driven development of society. Various science communication formats and interaction levels will be explored. Based on his recent engagement project “Making science the star,” promising pathways for fostering communication among scientists as well as empowering non-scientific communities will be presented.
