APS has designed the series to prepare physicists working in the private sector for career success, and to support students in learning about opportunities in industrial physics.
Webinar viewers will conceptualize women's experiences in the workforce in physics-related fields, and will learn about the differences in the types of discrimination that can transpire in industry versus in academic settings. Attendees will walk away with action-oriented strategies to build a more inclusive environment, either at work or on campus.
