Ben Zwickl (RIT) and Anne Leak (High Point University) lead a panel discussion with physics bachelor's recipients working in the private sector to explore the skills, knowledge, and mindset.
About half of all physics bachelors degree recipients go straight into the workforce after graduation, and nearly 70% of those go into private sector jobs — a far greater proportion than those who go into academic careers in physics, making this the most common career path for physics BS graduates. In this panel discussion, Ben Zwickl (RIT) and Anne Leak (High Point University) lead a panel discussion with physics bachelor's recipients working in the private sector to explore the skills, knowledge, and mindset that lead to success in those environments from their perspective.
