Wiki Scientist Course 2025: Quantum Science
In celebration of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, we are excited to offer an APS Wiki Scientist Course focused on quantum science. Participants will learn how to edit, update, and even translate Wikipedia pages on quantum science topics and scientists. They will help ensure that the Wikipedia articles cite relevant quantum research, drawing on the curated collection of the most influential works on quantum science that have appeared in the Physical Review Journals.
By participating in a WikiScientist course, you will:
- Improve access to physics knowledge for a global audience,
- Raise awareness of the accomplishments of women and other underrepresented groups in physics, and
- Grow your science communication skills.
Course dates and times
The course will meet virtually, once a week on Thursdays at 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. PT/ 2 - 3 p.m. ET from Jul. 10 - Aug. 14, 2025.

Cost
Membership is NOT required to participate. For guaranteed enrollment, the registration fee is $500.
Full scholarships are being offered by the following units and committees:

- Forum on Diversity and Inclusion
- Forum on Outreach and Engaging the Public
- Forum on Education
Partial scholarships are offered to all APS members. These partial scholarships will lower the registration fee to the following:
- APS undergraduate members: $25
- APS graduate members: $35
- APS early career members: $65
- APS regular or lifetime members: $100
