DNP and the Physical Society of Japan Joint Meeting
In November 2023, we will hold the sixth joint meeting of the Division of Nuclear Physics of the American Physical Society (APS) with the nuclear physicists of the Physical Society of Japan (JPS). The previous meetings in 2001, 2005, 2009, 2014, and 2018 were outstanding successes.
There are approximately 40 workshops planned for the 2023 Hawaii meeting. To accommodate as many workshops as possible, workshops will be held on 26 and 27 November, ahead of the start of the general meeting on 28 November There are also several satellite meetings planned, and the links are listed in the left panel.
* If you have a specific question about the DNP-JPS program, please direct it to abs-help@aps.org. If you have a question about your previous registration and hotel room and have not heard from CCC so far, please send an email to info@cccmeetings.com.
In addition to showcasing exciting nuclear physics, Hawaii 2023 is intended to foster cooperation, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among nuclear scientists from Japan, the US, and other Pacific Rim countries. It will provide an opportunity for students from Japan and the U.S. to meet and discuss their visions of careers in the field of nuclear physics.
The meeting will be primarily in person. The DNP is planning to stream the plenary session and the Business Meeting. All other sessions will be only in person due to time zone issues.
