Your gift supports the Early Career Award for Biological Physics Research
This award honors outstanding and sustained contributions by an early-career researcher in the field of biological physics. Presented annually by the APS Division of Biological Physics (DBIO), and sponsored by PRX Life, it includes a $3,000 cash prize, a certificate, and travel reimbursement of up to $1,000 for domestic travel or $1,500 for international travel. Additionally, the recipient will receive a registration waiver to attend the APS March Meeting, where they will be invited to give a talk and receive the award.
Since its inception in 2022, and originally funded through DBIO’s operating budget, the award has recognized a distinguished group of emerging leaders in our field. Thanks to PRX Life’s five-year sponsorship, the award amount increased to $3,000 in 2026. DBIO aims to endow the award permanently. We are working to raise funds to secure $90,000 to celebrate and sustain this award for the future. Thank you.
