Look Out Below

The experiment, led by Gary White of the American Institute of Physics, was part of the 6th Annual Student Science Conference held in May at the American Center for Physics in College Park, MD. The conference was co-hosted by the Education Division of the AIP and the University of Maryland’s Materials Research Science and Engineering Center. It involved both home schooled and middle school students from the local area and centered on the students’ oral presentations of their scientific research under the mentorship of MRSEC scientists.
