Protection Against Discrimination

The American Physical Society affirms its commitment to the protection of the rights of all people, including freedom from discrimination based on sex, gender identity, national and ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation, and additional characteristics. This principle will guide the Society in the conduct of its affairs.

The review process for any statement may be started at any time if deemed necessary by the Panel on Public Affairs, and at least once every five years.
